We’re delighted to present the latest edition of the Ipsos Earth Day report.

This 2024 issue (our fourth) is based on a 33-country survey conducted by Ipsos on its Global Advisor platform. We interviewed over 24,000 people between 26 January and 9 February.

Explore the results and discover:

  • How conviction on climate change action is on the wane
  • Why beliefs lag behind climate reality
  • How a sense that it’s too late to take action on climate change is particularly strong among young men
  • Despite some optimism, how views are mixed on the economic impact and affordability of transitioning fossil fuels
  • Who people think should pave the way for climate action
  • What are the leading motivators globally that could spur more climate action by individuals

Our report presents the findings over time and by country, alongside full details of the methodology.
